The Eastern Analytical Symposium and Exposition has ended, and Galaxy Scientific was pleased to have exhibited this year. EAS is an annual event that provides continued education, including a look into new technologies, for scientists and students in the analytical and allied sciences. The symposium featured papers, workshops, and short courses in addition to oral and award sessions, special lectures and poster sessions.
According to 2018 Program Chair, Christina Robb, “The 2018 Eastern Analytical Symposium celebrated the value of analytical science in the world at large. Themed “Analytical Solutions to the Worlds Problems”, the program combined talks over a wide variety of applications including water quality, food safety, forensic analysis, human health and disease, cultural heritage, mobile measurement, proteomics, pharmaceutical analysis, metabolomics, materials, and the environment. The application-oriented talks were matched by presentations dedicated to the advancement of the specific analytical techniques of measurement including HILIC, mass spectrometry, multi-dimensional chromatography, GC, solid-state NMR, ion chromatography, LIBS, ICP-MS, SFC, solution-state NMR, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy and microscopy. Focusing on the complete skill set practitioners to require, EAS also featured talks on regulatory affairs, compliance, CRO/CMOS, and lab management.”
Presenting the latest in equipment, services, and technologies, over 100 exhibitors, including Galaxy Scientific, offered product developments in NIR, FT-NIR, and more. Galaxy Scientific displayed their innovative high-performance portable QuasIR™ Series of FT-NIR analytical instruments, designed to tackle critical diagnostic problems and engineered for field or lab use.
To be sure, Galaxy Scientific is already looking forward to EAS20.
